yes, because rrdtool is a superset of mrtg ... this is like when
you asked for a tool to transform a movie into a fotographic
picture ...

now there are special cases where this is possible, but not in
general ...

rrdtool databases are just much more versatile ... use rrdtool dump
or the new rrdtool xtract to produce an xmpl format from the
rrdtool output
