Yes, you can install rrdtool on the second host and do a log2rrd
<logfile> each  tim you want to graph.
It takes some time though. 

Why not convert your existing mrtg logging to rrdtool and use the
standard 14all.cgi / mrtg-rrd.cgi script to do the logging. That way
you're working with rrdfiles anyway. 
If it's  little trouble to place the rrd's on a network drive, you can
do different queries on the rrd databases from the other host.

I am a newbie to the world of MRTG and RRDtool.  We have been using MRTG
for
some time and have log files which contain a lot of data.  I want to
know if
there is a way to use these existing logs files to generate graphs in
RRDtool on a PC which is not the monitoring PC.
