[rrd-users] module SNMP_util

Hello,
I use the module SNMP_util.pm to get value of oids in Perl:
($value)=&snmpget("public\@$ipaddr",$oid);
What/ How is the return I should check for if the execution pass or fail 
( like device was down ).
I already searched the CPAN for this particular module but seems it not 
exist any more.
