[rrd-users] RRD shared vs. pipes

Which one is more efficient?  I have an issue where 
a program (larrd/butter for Big Brother) is using the 
RRDs.pm, but I can't get RRDs.pm to work.  I do 
have RRDp.pm working, but butter uses RRDs.pm.
Switching over from s to p seems like a huge amount of 
work, and I want to make sure I am headed in the 
right direction.
