ketan,

the only way i know of to verify the snmp data gathered, is to go into the device and do a command line query.
compare this with the snmp data.
you can write a script and run it as a cron job,
or you can do it manually.

Yes, this makes sense to verify the end result. 
I don't intend to be pain in the butts, however, my original concern still remains - how do we make sure that target is replying the correct data to SNMP queries? 
Any insight on this would be greatly healpful,
