It probably has something to so with your script not printing a:
Content-Type: image/png

before you send the image out to the browser.

Serge.

Subject: [rrd-users] RRDs::Graph to STDOUT on Win32
Importance: Low

Content-Type: text/plain;
	charset="US-ASCII"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
I've read through the archives, and even downloaded a number of example
.cgi scripts (14all, drraw, rrdgrapher, etc.) but I still can't figure
out how to get RRDs::Graph to return the PNG graph straight to the
browser without first writing the graph to a file.

Details:
Perl 5.6.1 build 635
RRDTool 1.0.40
Windows XP-SP1
Apache 1.3.26

RRDs::Graph works when I specify an actual filename instead of '-'. If
I specify '-', the script runs OK, but at the bottom of the HTML page I
get hex garbage. I know this means that STDOUT is reading binary data
in text mode. I've tried various combinations of turning autoflush
on/off, "binmode(STDOUT)", but I've gotten nowhere.  I've also tried
using the GD module, but I don't really know what I'm doing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (No 'Windows sucks' comments
please. I don't like it any more than you do, but circumstances dictate
that I have to use Windows on this project.)

Thanks,

Jim
