[rrd-users] red hat 9 + rrd tool 1.0.44 make install error

Recieved the following make install error:

 perl-shared/blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.bundle /usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.44/lib/perl/auto/RRDs

Recieved the following in config.log:

Anyone have the solution?

I have perl and gcc on my system and I am logged in as root for the compiling.
