Here you go:
 rrdtool update $workDir/spam.rrd \
 	-t RSS:DUL:SPEWS:SPAMHAUS:SOCKS:SENDMAIL_MISC \
	N:$RSS:$DUL:$SPEWS:$SPAMHAUS:$SOCKS:$SENDMAIL_MISC

With --template (or -t) you're telling rrdtool update what format(order)
you are sending the data in.

So you were trying to do multiple updates with the same timestamp. This
way should get you going.
