[rrd-users] help me compiling remstats

hi, i'm student and i'm in intership
i have to install remstats and see how it works
but i have a big problem, i can't compile it
it seems to come from the GD library
i get the folowing messages :
"can't locate GD.pm in @INC"
so i move GD.pm in a directory contained in @INC but when i do this i get another error message
"can't load object for module GD ..."
can someone please help me
it's been almost a week since i've begun to try to install remstats, i'm turning crazy
