Daniel,
First question -- what's wrong with using "--end now" since, if the last
update is some
time back, the "following" values will be undefined and are (normally) just
omitted from
the chart (unless you use a CDEF with some UN logic to force undefined to,
say, zero)?
I guess this will leave a "tail" at the r/h end of the chart which you may
not want.
OK -- second question: Is the hyperlink that points to the RRDCGI script in
a static
page or a dynamically-generated one? If the latter (e.g. a Perl CGI
script), you could
find the LAST value in that script and pass it to the RRDCGI script as a CGI
parameter.
If the page is a static one, you could replace it with a dynamic one to
achieve this effect.
