Thanks for your advice, but i have tried this already. The output is 
than as follows:

  [ERROR: end time: unparsable time: RRD::TIME::LAST] --title="Bitrate" 
DEF:mybps=some.rrd:bps:AVERAGE CDEF:bitps=mybps,8,*,1000000,/ 
LINE2:bitps#FF0000:"MBit/s">

Any other ideas?
