[rrd-users] SUMMARY: A Multi-Threaded SNMP Get ?

Thanks to all those who replied to my request for help writing a high 
performance SNMP collector.

The general consensus is that forking or spawning lots of collectors is a 
Bad Thing (I tend to agree) and that using Net::SNMP in non-blocking mode is 
a popular solution.

I also received some interesting information about how to use SNMP_Session 
with a non-blocking socket.

I haven't decided how to proceed yet, there are a number of issues with my 
host system that I have to overcome if I want to use Net::SNMP so I may end 
up having a go at modifying SNMP_Session.
