[rrd-users] compile problem rrdtool-1.2.12 on RH8

Hi folks,

I am having the same problem as this one I found on the list archives,
but I do not see anywhere that it ever got answered :

I also found someone here with the problem but his fix does not seem
to be mine (or stated otherwise, I don't understand the fix he stated)

What's missing from my compile?  WHat needs to be linked in or whatever?
