[rrd-users] Need a script to access switch

Hi RRD-users
I have to extract data from a Switch and monitor the traffic going through
it using rrd.
I want to access the switch from the command line or using a unix
sxript.Iam not able to access the switch directly from unix as i have
to use telnet
and enter a username and passwd .How can i pass the usernmame and passwd
using a unix script.

Please help me out using this
