I built this module, tested it with apache 1.3.33 and apache 2.2.0
(what I have installed) and I was unable to obtain the segmentation
fault in either version, as you can see from the following link.

Here's the newest amavis-stats which is using the embedded RRDTool
functions and as you can clearly see it works.

I suspect you may have another issue giving you the segmentation
fault but you'll have to take this up with PHP first.
