You:
    How can I:
       a) create an rrd file that can contain all three of those values, and
       b) individually update each one.

There's your 'a', 'b'.

You ask for:  (a) >>and<< (b).

(a) have one file containing all three values
(b) update each value individually

You can have (a), or you can have (b), but you cannot have them combined.
You cannot have one rrd file containing all three values and update each
value individually.
