And is "the fonts DIR of windows" the same as 
"/usr/share/rrdtool/fonts/" ? I rather think it isn't, in which case 
you have the cause of the problem (or at least a better understanding 
of what is a symptom of a bigger underlying problem).

If you are using Windows (another fact that might have helped if 
you'd mentioned it in your first post), then I believe paths will all 
be different. I would assume that whoever ported the software would 
have taken care of that, but it looks like something has gone wrong 
here. Did you use pre-compiled binaries (obtained from where ?), or 
did you build from source ? How was it built ? What config options 
(if any) were fed into the build process ?

It's beyond my capabilities to help further in this one - over to 
someone else ?
