[rrd-users] Sar data

Thanks for the pointers.  Sorry for not responding sooner - out of touch
with email.

I looked at collectd, and it looks like it could save me a lot of work since
it has already implemented distributed data collection.  I don't see a sar
module, though.  Does one exist somewhere?

I downloaded collectl, but haven't had a chance to dig into it yet - there
was no tarball (only rpm) on the web site, and I didn't have an rpm decoder
handy for my Mac (there is one on sourceforge). Maybe this could be combined
with collectd.

I'll take a look at sar2rrd also.  Ksar sounds interesting, but since
everything else is to be kept in rrd, I'd like to keep sar data there also.
