[rrd-users] rrdtool 1.3 and Umlaut characters

Hi Tobi and Sebastian,

thanks for your suggestions. I had already suspected that there might
be a locale problem, but hadn't taken into account that debian doesn't
install any locales (except POSIX and C) by default.

I used locale-gen to generate the default German locale and used "export
LANG=de_DE", and everything is fine now with the special characters.
