[rrd-users] rrdupdate error on hp-ux

hi all,

i have a strange problem with rrdupdate (rrdtool 1.3.4, running on hp-ux
11.23, pa-risc). rrdupdate randomly gives errors like the one below:

$/usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdupdate
/var/opt/monitor/rrdtool/data/rrnode2/xprocn.rrd N:198
RRDtool 1.3.4  Copyright by Tobi Oetiker, 1997-2008

Usage: rrdupdate filename
                        [--template|-t ds-name:ds-name:...]
                        time|N:value[:value...]

                        at-time at value[:value...]

                        [ time:value[:value...] ..]

ERROR: /var/opt/monitor/rrdtool/data/rrnode2/xprocn.rrd: converting
'198' to float: No such file or directory

the exit code is 1.
