[rrd-users] problem with lost of data, file size always the same!

Yup, that looks right.

I don't think there is. As I understand it, RRDTool has no way to add 
DSes to RRD files, to change the number or configuration of RRAs, or to 
modify the step value, once the rrd file has been created.
