[rrd-users] NFS and rrdtool update

Hi,
I am using rrdtool over  an NFS file-system, and am getting locking
failures. I  believe that this is causeing rrdtool update to be very slow,
or not to work at all. I found a post that said to rebuild rrd without
memory mapping, and am not sure how to accomplish this.Please any help is
appreciated.  If this is not the proper thing to do please someone offer a
suggestion.
