dump on old:

Yeah, combined with your "-u 3000" this explains why it wasn't visible.
You make it really hard for yourself and for us to investigate :)

I don't know this, but I would guess there is a bug in the version you are 
using to restore. Try another version. If there is a newer one, use it.

The problem could also be in the version you used to dump, I dunno. Maybe 
others do.
