[rrd-users] Max length of an update string?

I am using the c library to send updates to rrdtool.

I am getting a SIGSEGV in write_RRA_ROW
in the mmaped version of the function.

Is there a max length for an update template? I wondering
if I am running into that?

All the pointers to the call look correct, though the offset
(rra_current) is pretty large (4966936) but then so is the
file. The file is about 6meg.

this is 32 bit rrdtool on a 64 bit version of linux, btw.
