I would only use two -- the PV and Supply.

This is because you can still calculate averages over a calculated DS in RRDTool to get averages for a subset of the time, and time is an availiable function of the DS.

As an example of this, the Routers2 frontend for MRTG uses a time function to present the averages for the 'working day' periods in addition to the 24h averages, without having to obtain an additional DS.

Having the data in a single DS would make it much easier to load, and allow 24h graphs without having to do merging magic...
