[smokeping-users] how to go about spikes

Folks,

I have tried working out a way to deal with spikes and scaling in
smokeping, but I am not yet happy with the result ... a further
incarnation (beyond 0.99.10) is on
http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/smokeping/smokeping.cgi
but I am not realy happy yet ... and ideas on how to conceptionally
go about spikes ?
