Dear All,
I found the reason. That is, the "++PROBE_CONF" part should be placed in "TARGET" section. Now it's working fine.
Dear Tobi,
I wonder if it is possible to add a variable for source IP for the advanced Ping in IOSPing. If it's possible, what could I do? Thanks a lot.
Best Regards,

Subject: [smokeping-users] Problem with IOSPing
Dear All,
I've got a problem in SmokePing with IOSPing. I got the message when I make the smokeping restart after config modified as below.
NAP-SP-2# ../bin/smokeping --restart
ERROR: /usr/local/smokeping/etc/config, line 88: no sections are allowed
NAP-SP-2#
And the config for IOSPing part is as below.
+ IOSPing
binary = /usr/bin/rsh
packetsize = 1024
forks = 1
++ PROBE_CONF
ioshost = my.router.ip
iosuser = smoke
In the config, the line 88 goes with "++ PROBE_CONF". The platforms are FreeBSD 4.8-STABLE and FreeBSD 5.0-RELEASE. The SmokePing version is 1.19 in FBSD-4.8 and 1.20 in FBSD-5.0.
Is there any thing wrong? Any comment is appreciated.
Best Regards,
