[smokeping-users] Internal Server Error

My smokeping has internal server error. I checked the information in the 
server error log. It shows the following (numbered) lines in httpd the error 
log:

1) Can't locate Smokeping.pm in @INC (@INC contains: 
"/var/www/htdocs/t2/smokeping/lib" "/usr/local/rrdtool/lib/perl" 
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i686-linux  /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0  
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i686-linux  /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0  
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1  /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at 
/var/www/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi line 7.

The paths listed for Smokeping and RRD are correct, but is there a way to 
test if they are put into @INC ?

the first lines of the cgi/speedy script are:
#!/usr/bin/speedy -w
use lib qw("/usr/local/rrdtool/lib/perl");
use lib qw("/var/www/htdocs/t2/smokeping/lib");

I don't thing speedy is to blame because i get similar results with 
/usr/bin/perl as well.

2) BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /var/www/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi line

The line 7 in smokeping.cgi is: use Smokeping 1.23;
I checked my config file again and the version is 1.23.


3) speedy_backend[17778]: perl_parse error
4) speedy[17770]: Cannot spawn backend process.


Any help is appreciated with some idea how to fix these errors.
