[smokeping-users] Re: Internal Server Error

An earlier post March 2002 had the same error from 
/home/username/smokeping/lib, and the resolution was to make the home dir 
777. Why would smokeping need write permisions at a the parent directory 
level? But does it need write permissions somewhere else?

It also did not solve the problem I was having to make those changes. I have 
changed the permissions back to 755 owned by apache the httpd user account, 
so they should be readable by any user.
