[smokeping-users] Problem with perl's versions

Hi all.

I've a problem with perl's versions.

I've installed smoke ping in a RedHat 8 with perl version 5.8.0 and when 
I run ./bin/smokeping the machine response me that the version required 
is perl 5.6.1

My question is if it's posible to make run smokeping with this version 
or not and what can I do to solve the problem.
