How about running 2 or 3 separate configs:

1 config will actually monitor all targets.  This could possibly
also work for the NOC view of the world.

Then create a second config only used by the CGI called by the sales
reps, which can use the data collected by the first config.  No daemon
would run for the second config.

Any other view you need, just create yet another config.

Would that work?
