[smokeping-users] Using smokeping in 30 minute Increments

Has anyone tried this with much success.

We want to use smokeping on a remote host that dials into a
particular network and collects ping statistics, hangs up
and uploads the results to another machine.

The 2.9 Mbyte rrd files would be too big for a dial up
test so has anyone used this process and just uploaded
a list of pings and then had smokeping join them 
somehow ?

Any ideas appreciated.
