[smokeping-users] Problem after upgrade .. [FreeBSD?]

Hello all,

I have a little 4.11 NMS box that we use for monitoring..

we had smokeping 2.05 on there, from ports as well as perl 5.8.8, and 
thanks to portupgrade its been moderatly kept uptodate.

We recently updated smokeping to 2.09 as well as echoping (all from 
ports) and now we get this error:

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/smokeping.sh start
Your echoping binary doesn't support HTTP at (eval 20) line 1

yet..

echoping -v -h / amazon.com

This is echoping, version 6.0-BETA.

so it works..

[/usr/ports/net/echoping]# 59 > pkg_info -W `which echoping`
/usr/local/bin/echoping was installed by package echoping-5.99.0

[/usr/ports/net/echoping]# 60 > ls -l /var/db/pkg/echoping-5.99.0/
total 18

So I'm guessing that echoping is too new for smokeping

pkg_info -W `which smokeping`
/usr/local/bin/smokeping was installed by package smokeping-2.0.9_1

should I just downgrade echoping or should this work?

echoping has nothing that I can see that I could change or switch..
