I suspect that everyone using the CiscoRTTMonEchoICMP is having this
issue.  Perhaps the polled hosts have rarely been down hence you have not
noticed the critical syslog errors.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hello,
I'm getting the following critical log messages on my Cisco 3750 switches
when using the CiscoRTTMonEchoICMP probes.  However I only get these
errors in the switch logs when the device it is polling is down.

 

>From the Cisco 3750 log:

Dec 11 16:48:21.779: %SYS-2-NOTQ: unqueue didn't find 3CFD240 in queue
2148920

-Process= "SAA Event Processor", ipl= 0, pid= 3

The device is a Cisco WS-C3750G-24PS running 12.2(25)SED1

 

In the smokeping log all I get is a non response to the pings..

Tue Dec 12 09:38:15 2006 - CiscoRTTMonEchoICMP: A.B.C.D: got

 

All still seems to work however I would like to clean up the critical
errors in out NMS alarm window and syslog.  Has anyone seen this before?
I'm running smokeping 2.0.9.
