[smokeping-users] does smokeping really work correctly?

In the mean time (after zooming around), I found out, that if this  
significant spike that can be seen here:
http://tiny.wogri.at/JV
is included in graphing, the graph is wrong. If the spike is not  
visible in the graph, everything is fine.

So I'm having an assumption here:
* I'm using ntpd on this host to stay in sync with the correct time.  
may there be an issue here when NTP corrects the time backwards and  
smokeping does pings and somehow corrupts the rrd?

How could I remove this malicious spike from my graphs?
