Hi Ryan;

With regard, to item 1, from 
http://oss.oetiker.ch/smokeping/doc/smokeping_config.en.html (right at 
the top):
"'@include filename' is used to include another file."

Regarding item 2, usually you wouldn't have different sets of slaves for 
each and every single host.  Typically what you would do is define the 
set of slaves at some root level, then just let that all the child hosts 
inherit that setting.
