[smokeping-users] SIP 'ping'

Hello list!

We are a VoIP carrier and we use smokeping to monitor as many remote VoIP switches as possible with a few exceptions.   Some network operators do not allow ping also some devices will give ping a lower priority and drop the request.  Has anyone built a probe that sends a SIP option request and then measures the RTT of that packet?
