[smokeping-users] RRDs::create ERROR: step size should be no less than one second

Hello

 

I am trying to setup smokeping on a HP-UX 11.23 Itanium ia64 server.

I managed to compile and install rrdtools-1.2.27 and smokeping2.0.9.

When starting smokeping, I am getting the following:

# ./smokeping

### fping seems to report in 1 milliseconds

RRDs::create ERROR: step size should be no less than one second

Note: logging to syslog as local0/info.

Daemonizing ./smokeping ...

#

 

 

Smokeping is running as a daemon, but no databases are getting creating
in the datadir.

 

I have smokeping running successfully on multiple HP-Risc servers, this
is the first install I'm doing on an Itanium server. How can I work
around the Error "RRDs::create ERROR: step size should be no less than
one second"

 

Any help would be very much appreciated
