[smokeping-users] Issues with Alerts

Good Morning All,

I am new to smoke ping and are trying to get alerts running. From a
email perspective it all appears to be functioning correctly.

I have sent a test email and seems to be fine.

We are only using the "fping" probe and my alarm config looks like this;

+rttdetect

type = rtt

# in milliseconds

pattern = <25,>40

comment = Latency reached unacceptable levels for VoIP

All I am after is to be sent an email if the latency changes from below
24ms to above 40ms. Does this look correct or do I have the syntax
wrong?

Please help is possible,
