Double-check to make sure that what you're doing is appropriate
for OpenBSD. I was simply illustrating that in FreeBSD, there is
a way. I don't know for a fact that OpenBSD does it the same
way.
But, if you stop and restart smokeping, do you now have a
log file in /var/log/smokeping.log?
