Did you only change the file like as you wrote or did you also change something else?

Not sure on this end, then.  I've always stuck to the .fcgi file and never had to switch it around.  Maybe someone else can provide some insight.

Smokeping runs at so moment in the Version 2.3.6.

I think I will install the System new.
Have everyone a good manual for the installation so fcgi included?

Wherever it gets served up by your webserver, most likely /var/www/cgi-bin or something similar.  It depends on your OS and Apache configuration.

It was included in the install directory.  For me it's located at /opt/smokeping/htdocs/smokeping.fcgi.dist.  Rename it to smokeping.fcgi and replace your existing version.

Replace the smokeping.cgi file with the smokeping.fcgi file that comes with it.

The measured line is sometimes ticked off.
I read in the internet that's this is a problem of CGI and can solve with a change of FastCGI.
