[mrtg] Re: Thresholds and Alerts via Email ???

A technique I have used in the past (not with mrtg) is to add a bit of
logic when alarms occur every interval. It would do something like:

- on threshold SET, check for existance of a file 
- if no file 
	- create a file, send mail (or whatever)
- if file exists, exit
- on threshold CLEAR delete the file
