[mrtg] problem with running MRTG

To all
   My customer is using an MRTG but she seems to have a problem running
it. She's using the following information. please advise...

> manager:Solaris 2.5.1(sparc)
> 	mrtg-2.8.6
> 	gd-1.6.2
> 	zlib.1.1.3
> 	libpng.1.0.2
> 	perl5.004.04
> 
> when issue the ../run/mrtg mrtg.cfg,it produces the output like mrtg.err.

Here's an error message:

# ./mrtg mrtg.cfg
ld.so.1: .//rateup: fatal: libgd.so.0: open failed: No such file or
directory

PROBLEM: rateup died from Signal 9
 with Exit Value 0 when doing router '203.151.88.5.1'
 code was 9, retcode was . If this happens all the time,
 you should probably investigate the cause. :-)
