[mrtg] Limiting Avg to hours of operation?

Hello,

I just finished installing MRTG 2.8.8 on a Linux box to monitor our 60 WAN
links.  Working great so far.  I have a question about the avg.  Our hours
are mainly from 8 -3 (K12 school hours).  Does the avg. included the near
zero bandwidth usage for the other 17 hours?  As it looks like it does, is
there a way to only use the time period we are "open" to calculate the avg.
usage?  If this has been answered previously, could someone direct me to
the appropriate archive?  Thanks!
