[mrtg] Unzipping mrtg and so on..

Hi folks,

I've downloaded MRTG zipped (gzipped) files down using a PC,
used ftp to transfer to a UNIX box and try to unpack it.

However, not getting anywhere as get the following error :

'invalid compressed data - crc error'.

Can anyone throw some light on this, ie. is it because I'm downloading
to a PC and not a UNIX box directly?

Any suggestions please.
