Hi there everyone.
I've gone and done some reading, so i'm understanding everything up to this
point.
Except for the following... in MRTG, when you want to monitor something..
why do you need two OID's?
ie.
To monitor the number of people on our 5300 we use:
Target[5300]:
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.19.1.1.3.0&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.19.1.1.2.0:public at 203.17.36.36
The graph shows me what i want to know, with a single blue line showing the
amount of people on the access server, and the green fills in everything
underneath that line.
Why do I need two OID's though? I mean.. wouldn't:
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.19.1.1.3.0:public at 203.17.36.36 be enough?
Also.. does anyone know useful OID's for a mx4000? I want to monitor number
of people, as well as the amount of traffic going through the machine.
Great, thanks!
