[mrtg] New Install on Linux

I installed MRTG 2.8.8 on RH Linux 6.1.  Everthing appears to  be working
except that the graphs all show little or no variance in the data rates.
The max average and current are all the same.  This is the same case for
three different routers with different configs.

I'm new to MRTG and there is probably something simple that I'm doing wrong,
but I can't seem to figure it out.  Has anybody seen this??
