[mrtg] Info required on mrtg graphs with 3rd party mib data

Hello,
I am new to mrtg. I had a question regarding usage of the mrtg graphs.
Is it possible to use a 3rd party database to supply data for the graphs of
mrtg ? As an example: if the mibs are polled by a 3rd party poller and the
data stored in a Sybase SqlAnywhere database, can the mrtg frontend use that
data ?
Appreciate any pointers.
