Yup.

I deleted your message with the "Target" definition in it, but I'll
bet it doesn't have an Option....gauge line in it.

The default assumption is that the thing being measured is a traffic
counter so what gets graphed is the delta.

"gauge" says to graph the value, not the delta.

You didn't ask, but you probably will--the stuff looks like a temperature
in degrees C (which tend to be pretty meaningless in the best of cases) and
you really want to see the stuff to the right of the decimal point. How
to do that?

The way I do it is to multiply the value (in the external program) by
ten or a hundred, graph that, and change the Legends to read something
catchy like "Degrees C (times 10)" (or times 100!).

There are some examples of the technique measuring other things (not
temperature) at the URL below (log for "Load"--I think I do it there).
