[mrtg] Flatline in mrtg, I think it's calling rateup wrong

Hello --
Trying to monitor my Cisco 675 with MTRG 2.8.12.
Got it installed ok, I had to upgrade my 675 OS because MRTG was getting a
SNMP error "toobig". Now when it polls my 675 all it graphs is flatline
(zero). It doesn't even show the right IP address on the webpage it
generates (in the config file too). It's showing 10.0.0.1, and that's not
the IP address assigned to the ethernet port it's monitoring.
If I fire up SNMPc and poll the router and get the statistics for the
ethernet port (interface 1) I can see the correct info.
Read the FAQ, looked in the mailing list archives and didn't see anything
that could help.
I was doing a ps -ax on my linux box (that's where it's installed) and I
noted that it was calling rateup weird. It was like perl /usr/bin//rateup
<gobbly gook>. But I get no errors when I run ./mrtg mrtg.cfg in my /usr/bin
directory. Looking at the logfile that mrtg creates I'm getting all zeros in
the columns except for the first one (the timestamp one).
Any ideas? It looks cool, just if it would work that'd be great :)
